Paul Hollywood and his wife Alexandra are the "happiest" they’ve "ever been".
The ‘Great British Bake Off’ judge has revealed their relationship is going better than ever just two years after he confessed to having an affair with his ‘The American Baking Competition’ colleague Marcela Valladolid.
He said: "We went through a very difficult time but we’re on top right now."
The 48-year-old star admits their "love of food" has brought them back together and he is now planning a "romantic" getaway for them on Valentine’s Day.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "There was no let-up but now I feel we’re in a very good place.
"I think this is the happiest we’ve ever been. Out love of food is they key to it all.
"We love going out and have done that a lot this year. We’re away for Valentine’s Day. That was my idea. I can be romantic. The way to every woman’s heart is through her stomach. Food is at the core of everything."
Alexandra – who has son Josh with Paul – has also moved on from her husband’s infidelity and is enjoying reconnecting with him.
She said: "You’ve just got to get on with life, haven’t you? I’m an eternal optimist, he’s an optimist. We’re having a good time."
