Jennifer Aniston praises Angelina Jolie

Jennifer Aniston thinks Angelina Jolie did a "gorgeous job" directing ‘Unbroken’.

The ‘Cake’ star insists there is no "petty kind of silliness" between her and the 39-year-old actress, who is married to her ex-husband Brad Pitt, and claims she is a huge fan of Angelina’s recent World War II drama about real-life former Olympian and prisoner of war Louis Zamperini.

The 45-year-old star said: "I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful, and she did such a gorgeous job."

The former ‘Friends’ star also dismissed speculation the duo avoided each other at the Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday night (15.01.15).

She said: "I think it’s time people stop with that petty B.S. and just start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness."

Jennifer, who has been engaged to Justin Theroux for two years, previously branded the Oscar winner "uncool" for discussing how she fell in love with Brad, 51, while they were shooting ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ in 2005 when he was still married to Jennifer.

But she now claims she is fed up of being pitted against the brunette beauty.

Asked about their rumoured rivalry, she told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "I think that’s slowly coming to an end. I really do.

"It’s just tiresome and old. It’s like an old leather shoe. Let’s buy a new pair of shiny shoes."
