Brendan Cole "can’t imagine" not being on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 38-year-old professional dancer has partnered the celebrity contestants on the show since it began 10 years ago and though he anticipates he won’t be on the programme forever, he is still "very comfortable" being a part of the contest.
He said: "I’m sure one day the shoes will have to be hung up, whether it’s because I don’t want to be there or they don’t want me.
"I love ‘Strictly’ and it’s a massive part of my life – I can’t quite imagine it not being there. It’s been over a quarter of my life so far. That’s a big chunk of time.
"I’m very comfortable with it at the moment and hopefully they’ll want me back next year."
While Brendan – who has two-year-old daughter Aurelia with wife Zoe Hobbs – adores the show, he has no interest in being a part of the accompanying tours as he prefers to take his own productions on the road.
He told Now magazine: "I’ve never done [the tour] and I’ve never wanted to. My show is what I like doing and that’s how it’ll stay."
