Jeremy Jackson has apologised for "groping" Chloe Goodman.
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ contestant was removed from the reality TV house on Saturday (10.01.15) after allegedly attempting to open the dressing gown of fellow housemate, Chloe Goodman, and has now admitted his regret for the incident saying it was a "drunken joke".
He said: "It was a silly, childish, drunken joke. But I didn’t touch her skin or paw her."
The actor – who is best known for playing Hobie Buchannon in ‘Baywatch’ as a youngster – has accepted a formal police caution for common assault over the incident, and has begged the 21-year-old model to "please forgive me".
He continued: "I want to apologise to Chloe. I’m so sorry.
"I never meant to cause any heartache or distress. That was the last thing I wanted. I feel terrible.
"Chloe was just trying to help me when it happened and if there was any way that I could make it up to her and we could be friends, then I would.
"I was saying sorry as she left the bathroom. But I’d still like to apologise properly and ask her to forgive me for hurting her feelings that night."
The 34-year-old actor has also taken the chance to tell his story of events from the alcohol-infused incident, confessing he was confused as to whether the ‘Ex On the Beach’ star was flirting with him.
He explained: "I was sitting on the bathroom floor wiping the vomit from my face, looking disgusting, when Chloe came in to check that I was OK.
"As she was helping me, she leaned over me and I pulled back the collar of her robe. I thought she had a bikini on underneath it but she didn’t.
"I didn’t see her full breast — all I was thinking was, ‘Which bikini do you have on and are you flirting with me?’
"The situation could have gone a million different ways but things happened the way they did, feelings got hurt."
Despite drinking what he describes as a "lethal cocktail" of beverages including gin, vodka, rum and wine, the former child star – who has been to rehab for alcoholism five times – said he cannot blame the drinks and accepts full responsibility for his behaviour.
He told The Sun newspaper: "It would be really easy to blame it all on the alcohol, but I’m not that cheap.
"It’s my fault. I can’t blame anything but me."
