Ken Morley was removed from the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house for using "offensive language".
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star had already received a formal warning for the language he used in scenes aired over the weekend.
He was called to the diary house immediately after describing a row he had with Frank Bruno, where he used a racist term.
In a discussion with Keith Chegwin, he recalled the conversation he had with Frank, where he told the boxing legend: "Hello, Lord Fauntleroy here – turn down your n***** rhythms."
The events had been building up over the weekend, but appeared to come to a head after fellow contestant Cami Li confronted Ken for his behaviour.
He responded by telling her: "The reason why we’re here – they have trawled America and England to bring us together, [to bring] psychological warfare [to the show]."
He was also confronted by Nadia Sawalha for the lewd comments he made about some of the women in the ‘CBB’ house but stood by his remarks, explaining: "Those girls are some of the best-looking women I’ve seen; they’ve got fabulous bodies …
"What is wrong with a man looking at the best-looking asses in the world?"
A statement released earlier announcing Ken’s departure read: "Ken Morley has been removed from the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house for using unacceptable and offensive language following his formal warning."
Ken was up for eviction against Alexander and ‘Ex on the Beach’ beauty Chloe Goodman in the public vote but after he was kicked out of the house, Tuesday’s (13.01.15) eviction has now been cancelled.
The statement continued: "Tuesday’s eviction is now cancelled and lines are now closed. Anyone who has already voted will be able to apply for a full refund and details will be available on the ‘Big Brother’ website within 24 hours."
