Tamzin Outhwaite divorced ex-husband Tom Ellis over more than just a "one-night stand".
The 44-year-old actress, who married Tom in 2006 and divorced him last year, has suggested that their relationship ended because Tom made more than a single mistake.
She shared: "I wouldn’t not be with my husband over a one-night stand is all I’ll say."
However, the actress, who has two children – Florence Elsie Ellis, six, and two-year-old Marnie Mae Ellis – said she didn’t want to reveal the precise details of their troubles for fear of hurting their kids.
Tamzin explained to Essentials magazine: "I will tell them exactly what happened and it will come from me.
"He’s still their dad and they still have a relationship."
Tom confessed to adultery while filming in the US, however it was widely thought to have been a one-off incident, with Tamzin citing Tom’s "infidelity" as the reason for their split.
Despite the drama, which culminated in their divorce last year, Tamzin says she’s ready to move on and start a new chapter in her life.
The ‘New Tricks’ star said: "It’s taken a while but I’ve got my confidence back."
