Tina O’Brien doesn’t want a "flashy proposal".
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress has confessed that while she’s keen to tie the knot with boyfriend Adam Crofts – with whom she has two-month-old son Beau – she doesn’t want him to go over the top when he pops the question.
She said: "I’d love to marry Adam – he’s my dream bloke. I want the kids to be part of the ceremony so we’ll wait until Beau’s walking so he can come down the aisle.
"We’re in no rush but it’s definitely on the cards. But of course Adam needs to propose first. I’d like something tasteful and intimate. I’d hate to have a flashy proposal."
The 31-year-old star is set to return to the ITV soap as Sarah-Louise Platt in the new year and admits she and her ex-boyfriend and former on-screen husband Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw) – with whom she has six-year-old daughter Scarlett – are on good terms.
She told Closer magazine: "We’re lucky that we’re getting on so well, because it can be really tough when couples split up, and I think it’s important for Scarlett to see her mummy and daddy getting on.
"Ryan will always be her dad and Adam is not trying to take his place anyway – he can be a good role model too."
