Danniella Westbrook has been house-hunting in one of Britain’s cheapest areas.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress recently revealed that money troubles have caused her to become homeless and she’s been spotted looking for a new property in Walton, Liverpool – where a two-bedroom terrace can be bought for as little as £25,000.
A friend of the 41-year-old actress said she was keen to move to Liverpool, having enjoyed herself in the city while filming ‘Hollyoaks’ last year.
The friend said: "Danniella loves Liverpool, she thinks the people are really friendly to her and genuine.
"She has lived in the city when working on Hollyoaks and feels a move might be good for her."
The insider explained that a move from Essex to Liverpool would represent a fresh start for the actress, in part because the cost of rent in Liverpool is cheaper.
The friend told the Daily Star newspaper: "She’s a fighter and wants to put this spell behind her.
"Danniella really likes the terrace-style of house they have in some parts of the city, you don’t get that style down south."
Mum-of-two Danniella, who famously battled cocaine addiction, has received support from her on-off boyfriend Tom Richards, 25, who recently tweeted: "We both think up north is 4us tbh! (sic)"
