Ciara and Future have reportedly split up again.
The pair, who have seven-month-old son Future Zahir, recently ended their engagement for good following rumours the rapper cheated on the ‘Overdose’ hitmaker earlier this year.
A source said: "They tried to work things out between them but it could not be saved. Ciara could not get over what had happened. She is focusing on her baby and friends now. Her baby is the most important person in her life."
The "humiliated" 28-year-old singer initially broke off her engagement with the 31-year-old rapper in August amid rumours he was having an affair with his stylist, Tyrina Lee, while on tour, but the couple moved back in together in September in a bid to repair their romance for the sake of their little boy.
The insider told E! News that Ciara is currently having the ‘N’ tattoo – representing Future’s real name, Nayvadius – removed from her ring finger, but insisted they are on "civil" terms.
The source added: "He is a great father. They want to keep things civil for the baby."
The former couple started dating in late 2012.
