‘Geordie Shore’ star Marnie Simpson had a breast uplift to boost her confidence.
The 22-year-old star has confessed to going under the knife after feeling pressure about her image since joining the MTV reality series last year.
She said: "I’ve had a breast uplift and had it done earlier this year. I had it done for two reasons, firstly because my boobs were not in good shape, I had one higher the other and it massively affected my confidence.
"I’ve absolutely not had any implants put in at all, I just had my boobs lifted and levelled so they both sit at the same size. The second reason is that for the first time in my life I’ve been able to afford the costs."
The brunette beauty – who is the cousin of original ‘Geordie Shore’ star Sophie Kasaei – admits that while the show has improved her life in terms of fame and fortune, she does struggle with being in the public eye.
She told MailOnline: "Being on ‘Geordie Shore’ has been the best thing that ever happened to me, but it does come with downsides too. I do feel pressured to look pretty and groomed."
Marnie – who is hoping her surgery scars will "fade right down" – went on to insist that while she doesn’t think she’ll ever be completely happy with her appearance, she’ll never lie to fans about what work she’s had done.
The reality star added: "I don’t think any girl is 100 per cent happy with every part of her body … I’m an honest person, I just can’t lie, if I do my face totally gives it away."
