Al Pacino has suggested he could appear in an upcoming Marvel film.
The 74-year-old actor has revealed he’s met with Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, and has suggested he may soon star in a comic book-inspired film from the studio behind the ‘Thor’ and ‘Iron Man’ movies.
He told the Happy Sad Confused podcast: "I’ve met with the Marvel guy. It’s a Marvel how things happen.
"I would imagine that either there’s something he feels is right for me and if I feel…"
At that point, Al was interrupted by a telephone call and quipped it was Marvel calling to prevent him from revealing any spoilers of the film.
Last week, Benedict Cumberbatch was cast in the lead role in Marvel’s ‘Doctor Strange’.
The 38-year-old Brit was linked to the coveted role for a number of months and his casting was confirmed by the film studio.
Kevin Feige, 41, said: "Stephen Strange’s story requires an actor capable of great depth and sincerity. In 2016, Benedict will show audiences what makes Doctor Strange such a unique and compelling character."
The film is being directed by Scott Derrickson, who helmed ‘The Exorcism of Emily Rose’, and is set for release in October 2016.
