Anne Hathaway’s husband helps her stay grounded.
The ‘Interstellar’ star, who married jewellery designer Adam Shulman in Big Sur, California in September 2012, reportedly couldn’t wait to get back to see him in Los Angeles after two weeks of travelling around the world to promote the film.
A source close to the 32-year-old beauty said: "Adam brings a great balance to her life when things get crazy. He’s her rock."
The couple are planning to take a few weeks off to go "someplace warm" before Anne starts to prepare for awards season in January, and they are also settling into their new home in Ojai, California after relocating there from New York City.
The insider added to Us Weekly magazine: "They’ll still keep the place in Brooklyn and spend most of their time out west. They love it there!"
Anne recently admitted being married completely altered her life and made her feel safe.
When asked if being married has changed her, she previously said: "It totally has and I did not expect that. Neither of us did. We were very open with each other and when we were getting married we thought we were just doing it for tradition and we really went in thinking it would be pieces of paper.
"But I didn’t know who I was going to be as a married person and there is a centering to it and I was allowing myself to really feel safe in a way that I never let myself feel since I was a child, you know. And I’ve been really blown away at how much life it’s given me."
