‘Celebrity Big Brother’ bosses are reportedly "desperate" to sign up Patsy Kensit.
Producers of the Channel 5 reality show are trying to secure a deal with Patsy, 46, to appear in the next series and have reportedly offered the former ‘Holby City’ actress a substantial pay packet.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The CBB producers are convinced Patsy will make great TV and are desperate to secure her."
However, Patsy has previously claimed she would be unwilling to participate in any reality TV shows apart from BBC One’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, as she is a huge fan of the series.
Meanwhile, Katie Hopkins was recently offered a record fee to appear on the upcoming series of the show.
The 39-year-old TV personality – who made her name in 2006 on BBC reality show ‘The Apprentice’ – is said to have agreed to appear on the show, having been offered more than the £400,000 that former boxing promoter Kellie Maloney is said to have earned earlier this year.
A source said previously: "Undoubtedly she will clash with some of the other housemates and generate loads of publicity for the show.
"She has been approached previously, but it looks like a deal has been reached this time."
The next series of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ is due to begin in January, but show bosses have so far declined to confirm or deny whether Katie and Patsy will be appearing on the programme.
