Kelly Brook’s friend stopped speaking to her after she reunited with David McIntosh.
The 34-year-old actress, who called off her engagement to the former ‘Gladiators’ star last month amid claims he had been unfaithful, has now reunited with her former flame, much to the unhappiness of her pals and family, who think she is "hooked on drama".
A source said: "Kelly’s petrified of the backlash she’s started to receive from friends and family.
"One of her friends was so angry at her ‘stupidity’ she refused to speak to her – saying she couldn’t watch her set herself up for more heartbreak.
"Kelly’s insisting she’s going to take things slowly and see what happens, but she’s also saying she knows she’s playing with fire and is going to get badly burned.
"Her friends are fearing it’s as if she’s hooked on all the drama and worry she’s heading for disaster."
And friends are said to be worried the ‘One Big Happy’ star will "rush into" having a baby with David because she is so determined to have a family.
The source added to Closer magazine: "Kelly’s still desperate to have a baby and that’s one of the reasons her friends think she’s determined to sustain relationships – even when they’re so wrong.
"She talked about having kids with David and now pals are worried she may rush into things."
