Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have reportedly named their baby daughter Esmeralda Amada Gosling.
The couple, who welcomed their first child into the world last month, have officially chosen a cute moniker for their new bundle of joy, according to her birth certificate obtained by gossip website TMZ.com.
It is believed the pair may have taken the name Esmeralda from the fictional novel and 1996 movie ‘The Hunchback Of Notre-Dame,’ while Amada was the character Eva played in the film ‘We Own The Night.’
The 40-year-old actress has also reportedly given the tiny tot the nickname ‘Preciosa,’ which means precious in Spanish, and is completely besotted with her.
A source said previously: "Eva’s in the deliriously tired but blissfully-in-love stage where she wants to do everything herself."
Meanwhile, Ryan, 33, has vowed to scale back his workload now he has a family and it is also believed he had no desire to work during Eva’s pregnancy.
The source said: "His family is now his number one priority. He’s accomplished everything work-wise that he had hoped and this is the next step in his life."
The couple started dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of their movie ‘The Place Beyond The Pines’.
