Selena Gomez has been seeking comfort from her grandfather following her split from Justin Bieber.
The 22-year-old singer has turned to her grandpa to help her get through her heartbreak after her on/off relationship with the 20-year-old star came to an end yet again last week following just a month of dating.
Taking to her Instagram account last night (03.10.14), Selena posted a picture of her cuddling her grandad, along with a cryptic message, which read: "Papa has ears that truly listen (sometimes), arms that always hold and love that’s never ending. (sic)."
The ‘Spring Breakers’ actress sparked rumours she’d broken up with Justin, whom she first started dating in 2010, last week when she posted two messages on Twitter after the ‘Baby’ hitmaker was spotted enjoying dinner with Kendall Jenner, 18, in Paris, France, while Selena was sightseeing with her friends.
She tweeted at the time: "Sometimes we think we aren’t good enough. But then I realise when I think I’m alone I have God."
She then added a few moments later: "We have to learn the hard way sometimes."
Although it isn’t known whether her tweets were directly related to Justin’s date with Kendall, Selena – who is thought to have flown back to the US alone – previously had a bust-up with Kendall and her younger sister Kylie Jenner, 17, after the Coachella Valley Music Festival in California earlier this year when she allegedly found text messages from Kylie, 17, on Justin’s phone.
However, Selena reportedly ended her feud with the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ stars in April after she realised she’d "overreacted."
