Sarah Jessica Parker reportedly found a cheque for $4,700 in New York today (02.10.14).
The ‘Sex and the City’ star was having a stroll with one of her pals this morning in the West Village when she stumbled upon the paper document screwed up on the pavement, according to E! News.
The 49-year-old actress picked up the cheque and continued with her walk, but it is believed she will attempt to seek the intended recipient or hand it in.
Meanwhile, the stunning star and her husband Matthew Broderick, who have son James Wilkie, 11, and five-year-old twin daughters, Marion and Tabitha, have just put their New York City townhouse on the market for the lump sum of $22 million.
The couple, who bought the historic home $18.995 million in 2011, first put the property up for sale in 2012 for $25,000 but failed to find a buyer at the time.
The pair spent a lot of time and money renovating the home, but they never actually occupied the house, which was originally built in 1846, and are rumoured to have purchased it for investment reasons.
The famous family are still thought to be living in a more modest townhouse in Manhattan’s West Village, which they bought in 2000 for $2.995 million.
They also own two ocean-front homes in the plush area of Amagansett in the Hamptons on the South Shore of Long Island.
