Giuliana and Bill Rancic still hope to have a second child.
The couple, whose two-year-old son Duke was born via a surrogate mother in 2012 because the reality TV star can’t get pregnant due to medication she is still taking following her successful battle with breast cancer in 2011, were left devastated when their gestational carrier Delphine miscarried their unborn baby at nine weeks in June and subsequently halted their plans to expand their family.
But the 40-year-old star told E! News they haven’t given up hope, adding: "You know we’re still trying to figure it out, we definitely took a little break there and just trying to see when is a good time to try for baby number two.
"We definitely want to have another child if we’re so lucky. I don’t know, we’re coming back around to thinking about it again, kind of talking about it, which we hadn’t been doing in a few months. Hopefully, it will happen sooner rather than later but we would love to have another child and have a sibling for Duke."
She added: "We’ve been so lucky with Duke, if we could have another child that would be incredible and a real blessing."
