Amber Rose has been left "devastated" by her split from Wiz Kalifa.
The 30-year-old model – who filed for divorce from the ‘Black and Yellow’ hitmaker yesterday (24.09.14) over suspicions he had been unfaithful to her – took to Twitter today to express her sadness at the breakdown of their marriage and thanked those who had offered her support.
Amber – who has a 19-month-old son Sebastian with the 27-year-old rapper – also slammed "fake" rumours which allege she had grown close to Nick Cannon following his split from Mariah Carey.
She wrote earlier today(25.09.14): "Please stop with the fake stories. I would never ever ever cheat on my husband in a million years I think u guys know this…..
"Unfortunately my now ex husband can’t say the same….
"I’m devastated and crushed but my main focus is Sebastian. Thank u for all the support in this difficult time.(sic)"
It is thought the US-born beauty filed for divorce after growing tired of the ‘We Dem Boyz’ hitmaker ‘s flimsy excuses for why she couldn’t join him on the road and grew increasingly suspicious of his behaviour when he began his tour in July and refused to let her attend.
According to court documents, obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, the stunning blonde cites irreconcilable differences and wants full legal and physical custody of Sebastian, but is willing to give Wiz visitation access.
Sources close to the former couple say their split is bitter amid rumours Amber recently started hanging out with Nick Cannon following his separation from his wife Mariah Carey.
However, those close to Nick – who has three-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with the ‘We Belong Together’ singer – have rubbished the claims.
An insider insists the ‘America’s Got Talent’ star only learned that Amber was having marriage troubles last week through her lawyers when he signed her on as a client.
They said: "That’s when Nick says he found out her marriage was on the rocks and only then did the two share break-up stories."
