Katherine Heigl is on an "apology tour".
The 35-year-old actress was the subject of a Hollywood Reporter expose on her alleged diva behaviour a year ago but her ‘State of Affairs’ co-star David Harbour says she is now trying to make amends and smooth over events which occurred during a "very frustrating" time in her life.
He said: "I think she was admittedly at a very frustrating point in her life and she was very frustrated and she was very vocal about it.
"Now she sort of tells me she’s kind of on an apology tour, and I wish her well for that because she’s a lovely woman and she’s really fun to work with."
He jokingly added: "Yes, she pulled the wool over my eyes."
The 40-year-old actor insists he enjoys working with Katherine on their new NBC show and can understand why she sometimes behaves the way she does now he has got to know her well.
He added to the New York Daily News newspaper’s Confidenti@l column: "I know that the press has sort of had a field day with her in the past, sort of about her being nasty and stuff.
"But once you get on the inside of something and you start to see all of the personalities … and once I see her point of view, I somewhat understand a lot of her reactions."
