Gino D’Acampo will replace Holly Willoughby as team captain while she takes maternity leave for her third child. Last Thursday Celebrity Juice started its 12th series, and continues next Thursday, 10pm on ITV2. Gino will take Holly’s place from this week.
With the help of a host of different celebrities each week, Gino will aim to come out on top against rival team captain Fearne. Who knows the most about the week’s celebrity news? The two teams will fight to know it in a series of challenges. Host Keith Lemon will preside as ever over activities.
Keith Lemon said: “Looking forward to having me old pal from Sheffield cover for Holly whilst she’s sprouting. I don’t know how he’s gonna keep up that fake Italian accent for a whole series but it’s gonna be fantastico! As Gino says, or when he’s out of character ‘reet good’!”
Gino D’Acampo added: “I actually can’t believe it’s true…it’s going to be the gig of my year! A show where I can express myself, not through food, but through my sex positions. Which I will be very happy to demonstrate with Fearne.”
Fearne Cotton commented: “I’ll certainly miss Holly and am slightly worried about Gino’s very naughty side, but it’s going to be a lot of fun!“
Celebrity Juice keeps on being the ITV2’s highest-rated show, winning up to 2.2 million viewers for the last series.
