Kim Kardashian wanted to adopt a Thai orphan.
The 33-year-old reality TV star was "totally" thinking about raising 12-year-old Pink as her own daughter after she "fell in love" with the youngster during a visit to an orphanage in Thailand earlier this year.
Speaking on last night’s episode (03.08.14) of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’, she told her mother Kris Jenner: "I literally cannot stop thinking about her [Pink]. I told Kanye, ‘Honestly, this girl is so sweet and so cute, I would like totally adopt her.’ "
However, Kris, who visited the orphanage with Kim, snapped back: "Oh my god, you can’t just go to an orphanage, fall in love with a child and take them home like your shopping. You get very passionate about things. You don’t think about… the whole thing through.
"I mean I bet there are things that you could do that would make all the difference to this little girl’s life without bringing her home."
Kim’s hopes of adopting Pink were shot down again after she learnt that the Thai government "does not encourage" foreigners to adopt Thai children and remove them from the country.
The brunette beauty, who was on a family vacation in Thailand at the time, developed a bond with Pink after spending a few hours painting and printing with her.
Meanwhile, Kim already has 13-month-old daughter North with her husband Kanye West.
