Alesha Dixon has admitted she would love to return to ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.
The singer, who starts on the show with David Walliams, Amanda Holden and media mogul Simon Cowell insisted while she is keen to remain as a judge and continue her singing career, the decision is ultimately down to her famous boss.
She told The Sun newspaper: "If I had it my way, I’d be back. But it’s up to Simon, so we’ll see.
"There’s no point being a judge on a show when I’m not doing the thing that got me to that position."
Alesha is currently working on her new album – the follow-up to 2010’s ‘The Entertainer’ – and she claimed it will stay true to her R&B roots.
She added: "I’m in the studio right now. I’m going to Sweden this weekend and America later on.
"My music is definitely always going to have a garage and R&B sound. I always MC so that won’t stop, I can’t help myself anyway.
"I said at the start of the year that I want a record out at the end of 2014 and I’m still trying to stick to that."
