The ‘EastEnders’ hunk recently posed topless for gay magazine Attitude and his steamy spread has resulted in him receiving lots of attention from male admirers on social media.
Quizzed if the sexy cover has led to more attention from girls, Ben exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I’ve got more tweets from boys actually on that one! It’s increased the number of tweets I’ve received.
"I haven’t been sent any weird pictures, but I get the odd inappropriate invitation. But it’s fine!"
The 23-year-old actor feels fortunate to have landed a regular job in ‘EastEnders’ as he admits it can be a struggle for actors to find work.
He explained: "You’re always aware that only eight per cent of actors are in work at one time, so you’ve got to be thankful for the job you’ve got and do the best you can."
Ben’s Walford alter-ego Peter Beale was recently left reeling after his housemate Billy Mitchell – the grandfather of his girlfriend Lola Pearce – was named a potential suspect in the murder of his sister Lucy.
Asked about the plot development, Ben said: "I think Peter feels very betrayed by Billy, but he’s also a very forgiving character."
