Cressida Bonas makes acting debut on-stage

Cressida Bonas has made her acting debut.

The former girlfriend of Prince Harry appeared in a production of ‘There’s a Monster’ in the How The Light Gets In Festival of Philosophy and Music – which is a spin-off of the Hay Festival in Wales – this weekend, HELLO! magazine reports.

The 25-year-old beauty – who split from the flame haired royal earlier this year – was cast in the role of wolf for the one-off showing presented at the alternative section of the arts and literature event.

The play itself – which was written by Tallulah Brown and is being directed by Lily Ashley – will move to the Rosemary Branch theatre in Islington, north London later this month where it will put on a regular set of shows.

Meanwhile, Cressida’s acting career is on the up as the former drama student recently landed her first film role alongside Burberry model Cara Delevingne in ‘Tulip Fever’.

The blonde beauty will play a young merchant’s wife in the film, which is set in the 17th Century and follows a married woman who begins a passionate affair with an artist, while Dane DeHaan, Jack O’Connel, Matthew Morrison, Dame Judi Dench and Christoph Waltz will also appear.
