Olivia Palermo says "communication" is the key to a successful relationship.
The 28-year-old beauty – who married German model Johannes Huebl last month – has opened up about her secret to a healthy romance, and insisted "trust" and honesty are both huge factors.
She told Cosmopolitan Latina magazine: "I think it’s about trust and communication.
"Open communication and supporting one another, honest love and respect really."
She also revealed her motto, which comes from Rosalind’s Russell’s role of Mame Dennis in the 1955 comedy ‘Auntie Mame’.
She explained: "It’s a quote from Auntie Mame from Rosalind Russell, ‘live, live, live!’
"You should not be too uptight and not take things too seriously, but also enjoy a little bit."
Speaking recently, Olivia explained why she and Johannes had kept their wedding – which took place in Bedford, New York – a secret, noting they wanted their big day to be "very private and special".
She previously said: "We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends.
"Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside."
