Cher Lloyd has congratulated Cheryl Cole on her new marriage.
The ‘Want U Back’ singer has offered her kind words to her former ‘X Factor’ UK mentor, who married Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini at a private ceremony last Monday (07/07/14).
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "@CherylCole Congratulations!!! Wishing you both all the best!!! [sic]"
Cher has led the messages from other stars congratulating the newlyweds, but Cheryl’s former Girls Aloud bandmates – Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle – have yet to publicly wish her well.
Cheryl took to Twitter this afternoon to thank her friends and fans for their good wishes.
She tweeted: "Thank you for all your kind messages and well wishes [sic]"
Meanwhile Cher recently admitted she wanted to build bridges with the ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ hitmaker, whom she fell out with after apparently hinting her mentor didn’t actually sing when she performed live.
She has now said: "I’ve said some stupid things, been an idiot and Cheryl is one person I want to see and speak to.
"She is one woman I would go to for advice. She sent me a lovely tweet when I got married and I’d love to see her soon."
