Selena Gomez "is trying to move on" after splitting from Justin Bieber.
The on-again, off-again couple, who first started dating in 2010, broke up again last week, but the ‘Come & Get It’ hitmaker still considers him a friend.
A source close to the 21-year-old star told E! News: "There will forever be an emotional connection for them, but they don’t have a title to their relationship. He is not her boyfriend, but the feelings are always going to be there."
The insider insists that Selena "is happy" and is having a great time with friends in New York City, adding: "[She] is trying to move on with her life and focus on her."
But the duo may be trying to make each other jealous by posting pictures of themselves with other guys and girls on their Instagram profiles.
The source said: "They are kids. Of course they might try to do that."
Justin has posted several photos of himself on dates with model Yovanna Ventura this week, while Selena shared an image of herself cosying up to her pal Tanz Watson.
The former couple reportedly split because Justin, 20, didn’t invite the ‘Spring Breakers’ actress to be his date to his manager Scooter Braun’s wedding in Canada last weekend.
