Katie Holmes is "overwhelmed" with love for her daughter.
The ‘Giver’ actress didn’t realise "how much love" she had in her until she gave birth to Suri – her child with ex-husband Tom Cruise – eight years ago and she loves learning more about her "spectacular" offspring.
She said: "I’ve seen ‘Frozen’ a lot. But the biggest change? I think you don’t know — I didn’t know how much love I had in me. It’s overwhelming. Every day I discover more about this spectacular human being I get to be the mother of."
Despite splitting from Tom over two years ago, Katie insisted she is too busy with her career and raising her daughter to date at the moment.
She told America’s Glamour magazine: "I am really focused on motherhood and work right now."
The 35-year-old actress credits her parents with keeping her grounded when she found fame at a young age.
The former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star said: "[My family have always been] so crucial to my outlook on life.
"I started acting at 17 and had success at an early age, where all of a sudden people knew who I was. But my parents always treated me the exact same way at home and reminded me of gratitude. And that’s been a grounding force."
