Robin Thicke makes album apology

Robin Thicke’s new album is an "apology" to his estranged wife.
The ‘Blurred Lines’ hitmaker has poured his heartbreak over his split from Paula Patton into new record ‘Paula’ and says the songs have helped him "figure out" his personal situation.
He said: "The album is exactly what happens when you lose the love of your life and you’re trying to figure it out in your head.
"How am I going to move on and get through it all? We just weren’t happy together anymore and I still had so much I wanted to apologise for, and things I wanted to take responsibility for, so that’s pretty much what the album’s about."
And despite being the subject matter for the songs, Robin admits Paula – the mother of his four-year-old son Julian – hasn’t heard much of the album yet.
He added in an interview with Hot 97 radio: "She hasn’t heard [the album]. She’s only heard a few songs. I don’t think she wants to hear it right now. I can’t speak for her, but I think space is an important part of any healing process."
The ‘Get Her Back’ singer has made numerous public pleas to win back his wife of eight years, but they haven’t seen one another for several months.
He added: "I try to keep most of that private, but, I haven’t seen her for four months.
"If you’ve been together that long, you kinda became adults together instead of being adults and then meeting. But maybe a year or two off, we’ll become our own people without each other and then it will be meant to be."
