Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are officially divorced.
The former couple have legally terminated their seven-year marriage after a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge finalised proceedings on Monday (16.06.14), almost three years after they split, according to Us Magazine.
Marc, 45, initially filed for divorce from the ‘On the Floor’ hitmaker, 44, in April 2012 following their split in 2011, but the former lovers have remained friends ever since and have been co-parenting their six-year-old twins Max and Emme.
It didn’t take long for either stars to find love again following their break up as Jennifer began dating Casper Smart in the Spring of 2012 and Marc began romancing model Shannon De Lima.
However, the Latino singer ended his relationship with Shannon a year later and struck up a romance with Topshop heiress Chloe Green, before calling it quits earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Jennifer recently ended her two-and-a-half year relationship with Casper, 27, but the pair are keen to remain friends.
Although, It seems the split from the choreographer has been good for Jennifer, who has been married three times in total, as she recently admitted she has done some "soul searching" and is feeling "stronger" than before.
She said: "Things have changed so much for me. I had to really do some soul searching and just realise a lot of things about love, and now I feel like I come from a place where I’m stronger and, I think, better."
