Lucy Mecklenburgh thinks ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ is "cursed".
The 22-year-old beauty got engaged to her ex-boyfriend Mario Falcone on the ITV2 reality show but has admitted she doesn’t think her former co-stars Charlie Sims and Ferne McCann should follow suit.
She said: "Charlie Sims has said he wants to propose to Ferne McCann on ‘TOWIE’. My advice to him is don’t do it! The show is cursed. Not one engagement has worked.
"I don’t think there’s any need to rush it either. If you love someone, that should be enough. I made that mistake."
The former reality TV star has advised the couple – who confirmed they’d got back together last week following a number of cheating scandals – to take their relationship one step at a time.
She wrote in her new! magazine column: "I reckon they should let the dust settle after everything and get through another series, as things usually get a bit rocky once filming starts."
Meanwhile, Lucy has admitted she avoids going to Mario’s house to visit their dog Bentley because she’s still getting over their split.
She said: "Mario has made it clear that I can see Bentley whenever I want, but it’s just a bit awkward. I thought it’d be better to leave things and move forward."
