Rita Ora sometimes feels alone in a long-distance relationship.
The 23-year-old singer has been dating DJ Calvin Harris – who has a residency in Las Vegas – for the past year and admits that it can be challenging being away from each another for long periods of time, but insists it can still work if you’re both determined to keep it going.
She said: "Long-distance relationships aren’t ideal. They’re really hard and there are times when you feel as if you’re on your own. I think if you really want to make it work, you will. It will just require a lot of patience and a lot of trust. It kind of sucks but sometimes you just have to take the situation for what it is."
Rita is "proud" of Calvin – who was recently listed as the second richest musician under 30 in the UK with an estimated fortune of £30 million – and admits she’s never want to stop him from achieving his potential.
She added in an interview with Britain’s HELLO! magazine: "I’m so proud of everything he’s achieved. He’s so successful in his own right and the last thing I want to do is interrupt that and ruin it."
