David Walliams says Simon Cowell is "annoying because he has got it all".
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star has admitted he will be trying to put his fellow judge – and boss – off as much as possible during the contest’s upcoming live shows because it’s what viewers want to see.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper’s We Love TV magazine: "Viewers love seeing him brought down a peg or two. They love him, but they love to hate him too.
"He is annoying because he has got it all. I think that’s why Will Young won the first ‘Pop Idol’ – because he took Simon on.
"If the judges just say their pieces and there is no interaction between them, it’s boring. There has to be a dynamic between them, and I think that’s the case between us."
David was able to get under Simon’s skin during the auditions when he pressed his golden buzzer to put through singer Christian Spridon – much to the horror of the media mogul.
He said: "I like camp acts – and he’s very camp. Funnily enough, if people are too talent, I can actually find that a turn-off. I look for who’s the most entertaining."
