Noel Gallagher’s first solo gig since Oasis reunion announced

Noel Gallagher is preparing for his first solo performance since Oasis reunited last year – joining drum and bass pioneer Goldie for two orchestral concerts at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

The 59-year-old guitarist and songwriter has been confirmed as a special guest for Goldie’s Dare To Dream performances at the EFG London Jazz Festival on Saturday 14 November.

The concerts, scheduled for 5pm and 8pm, will feature an orchestra, choir and live band alongside a series of guest performers, marking Noel’s first announced appearance outside Oasis since the band’s highly anticipated comeback tour in 2025.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Goldie, 61, revealed Noel’s involvement in a video in which he pulled the musician’s name from a Rolodex.

He said: “Me and Noel Gallagher do it again.”

Referring to their longstanding friendship and musical collaborations, Goldie added: “30 years, that’s what we’ve got between us. We’re here, going to Royal Festival Hall to do it all over again.”

The two musicians have known each other for decades, with Noel contributing guitar to Goldie’s 1998 track Temper Temper, which appeared on his second studio album, Saturnz Return.

The collaboration brought together two prominent figures from different areas of British music during a period when Oasis were among the country’s biggest rock bands and Goldie was helping bring drum and bass into the mainstream.

Goldie first achieved widespread recognition with his 1995 debut album Timeless, which became a defining release in British electronic music.

He subsequently expanded his work into acting, appearing in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough and the BBC soap EastEnders.

Speaking to NME about the forthcoming performances, Goldie said: “They said this music would only last five years, 35 years later I’m still here ready to do another iconic show ‘Dare To Dream’ at the Royal Festival Hall.”

He added: “This time I have Noel Gallagher, Skin, Anaiis, Yussef Dayes and many more incredible guests plus my live band and an orchestra. New and classic material, it’s a very very special show. Two shows, One Dream.”

The concerts will also feature French-Senegalese singer anaiis, jazz drummer and producer Yussef Dayes, and vocalists Natalie Williams and Cleveland Watkiss.

Skunk Anansie frontwoman Skin, 59, is also among the confirmed guests.

Further performers are expected to be announced ahead of the shows.

Noel’s appearance comes after his reunion with younger brother Liam Gallagher, 54, brought Oasis back to the stage in 2025 following a 16-year absence.

The Manchester band, known for hits including Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back in Anger, Live Forever and Champagne Supernova, embarked on their Live ’25 reunion tour, playing stadiums across the UK and internationally.

The concerts marked the first time the brothers had toured together since Oasis split in 2009 following a backstage confrontation before a festival appearance in Paris.

The band are now preparing for another series of concerts in 2027, with reports of a sold-out Live ’27 tour covering the UK, Europe and North America, including dates in Manchester and at Knebworth.
