Billie Eilish planning ‘biggest shows’ of her career

Billie Eilish is preparing for the “biggest shows of her career”.

The bad guy hitmaker has been hard at work on her fourth studio album and is reportedly planning a huge stadium tour, as well as festival shows, in 2027 and 2028 to coincide with the release of the record.

A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Billie has been hard at work on her fourth album this year and her team are already putting a plan together for its rollout.

“She has grown and grown in popularity, and promoters are speaking to her team about putting on the biggest shows of her career.

“She has the popularity to be a stadium act now and sell out massive venues.

“On her first few tours, her team were conscious that she was very young and didn’t want to overwhelm her with venues which were too big, too early on.

“But Billie is in a really good place and she is raring to get out on the road again.”

The 24-year-old singer confirmed in May she was “right in the middle” of working on her album and was very happy with her progress so far.

She teased to NME: “We are working on new music. It’s happening. It’ll be a second but we’re deep in album mode and it’s really fun.”

Billie admitted the sessions have been unusually smooth so far.

She explained: “It’s actually really fun. We’re having a really good time which maybe means it’ll be really s*** because [it’s rare that I have] a good time [while making an album]… But we’re right in the middle of it and it’s feeling really good.”

The What Was I Made For? singer also spoke out to defend phone culture at gigs after footage from her 3D concert film Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour showed fans constantly filming her on stage.

She said: “I just think that’s what it’s like. My generation, and the generations below, we love to film stuff. All I do is film and take pictures of stuff – all of the time.”

She said she grew up doing exactly the same thing, long before she was headlining arenas.

Billie continued: “When I was young and would go to concerts or festivals, I would film every single minute of it – and then I would watch every single video that I took over and over until I even had the audio of the crowd memorised.

“I think that’s not to be pooh-poohed. An important part of the culture is that we are all on our goddamn phones! It keeps us connected. It does!”
