Huge names will take over London’s Roundhouse this October as the BBC marks 20 years of Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black with a major tribute concert.
Baby Rose, Corinne Bailey Rae, FLO, Jessie Reyez, Jorja Smith, Lianne La Havas, Nia Smith, Sasha Keable, Skye Newman and Yebba are all confirmed to perform alongside The Amy Winehouse Band, with the show airing exclusively on BBC Two, BBC iPlayer, Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.
Amy Winehouse: Back to Black at 20 (w/t), takes place on October 21, and will see the album performed in full. The concert is led by the original creative team behind Back to Black, including producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, Amy’s long‑time musical director Dale Davis, plus Paul O’Duffy, p*nut and Darcus Beese.
The BBC will turn the anniversary into a full day of programming, with a dedicated iPlayer channel streaming Amy’s classic BBC performances before the main broadcast. BBC Two will simulcast the concert and follow it with additional documentaries and archive specials celebrating her legacy.
Radio 2 will air the show on October 26, with Jo Whiley hosting. The station will also revisit Amy Winehouse: Legacy of a Lioness, a two‑part special featuring Alexandra Burke, Ella Henderson, Emeli Sandé, Jessie Ware and Mabel reflecting on Amy’s influence.

We’re proud to celebrate the enduring appeal of Amy’s work with the broadcast of this special concert, alongside a range of performances that were captured by the BBC throughout her career.”
BBC Radio 6 Music will join in with the tributes on October 23, dedicating the entire day to Amy Winehouse Forever. Nick Grimshaw, Deb Grant, Craig Charles, Huw Stephens and Femi Koleoso will share stories, interviews and rare session recordings, including Amy’s 2003 Maida Vale performance and conversations with Dale Davis, Ade Omotayo and Dionne Bromfield.
The BBC will also release an Amy Winehouse Artist Collection on October 20, featuring live sets, interviews and session highlights across BBC Sounds.
