Noel Gallagher reveals when Oasis committed to Live ’27 tour

Noel and Liam Gallagher committed themselves to another Oasis tour after their second show at Wembley in July 2025.

The Gallagher brothers reunited for the long-awaited Oasis tour last year, and Noel has now revealed when they decided to embark on another tour.

Noel, 59, explained on talkSPORT: “It was after the second Wembley show [on July 26 2025].

“Nobody really knew what was going to happen or how it was going to go. So we did Cardiff and Manchester, then by the time we got to Wembley, somebody said ‘Well, you know?’ and it was decided we were going to do it.”

Despite this, Noel was quick to shut down suggestions that Oasis might release new music.

The iconic Britpop group haven’t released an album since 2008’s Dig Out Your Soul, and Noel isn’t planning to release another record with Oasis.

He said: “There won’t be any new music.”

Noel’s sentiment was previously echoed by Liam, his younger brother.

The 53-year-old singer dismissed the idea in July when a fan asked about the possibility.

The fan wrote on X at the time: “oasis new album please please please im sorry but i think the new album will actually change lives (sic)”

But Liam replied: “NO I’m just not prepared for the criticism if it doesn’t sell 100 million copies in the 1st hour cure bad breath and constipation for the nation if it doesn’t turn back time for Cher and some other s*** let’s just to some gigs and be happy thank you (sic)”

Oasis have confirmed a run of UK, Ireland,  European and US stadium dates in 2027.

Oasis Live ’27 tour will begin with five nights at Glasgow’s Celtic Park between May 21 and May 29, before they return home to Manchester for 11 nights at Etihad Stadium.

The band will play two nights in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, and Rome in July, before heading to the US for three nights at Boston’s Gillette Stadium and three nights at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.

Oasis will play two nights at Slane Castle in Ireland, and then head to Knebworth for their long-awaited return to the iconic venue.
