KPop Demon Hunters global concert tour planned for 2027

Netflix is taking KPop Demon Hunters on the road next year with a huge global concert tour.

During the streaming giant’s Upfront 2026 event in New York City on Wednesday (13.05.26), it was revealed that fans of the blockbuster animated musical film can expect “a live experience that will bring elements of the two-time Oscar-winning film to life in spectacular ways.”

Netflix’s President of Advertising Amy Reinhard said at the presentation: “Obviously, nothing has captured the world’s attention quite like KPop Demon Hunters.

“There were sing-a-longs, Halloween costumes, shoutouts at the U.S. Open and Buckingham Palace. There was even a 25 per cent spike in flights booked to Korea. And today, KPop Demon Hunters is still the most popular film on Netflix, and we’re really excited to announce that next year, in partnership with AEG Presents, we’re going to keep that momentum going with our very first world concert tour. The live tour is going to bring fans even closer to the characters and the music that they love, and of course, we want you to be a part of that. We’ll have more information to share about the cities later this year, so stay tuned.”

Fans can now sign up to a waitlist via kpopdemonhunterslive.com to be first to find out which cities the show will head to in 2027.

The Maggie Kang film follows HUNTR/X, a girl group doubling up as demon hunters, as they battle rival demon boy band the Saja Boys and face personal challenges. The mix of catchy music and action has drawn fans of all ages, with social media flooded with videos of fans singing the Oscar-winning megahit Golden.

The cast features Arden Cho voicing Rumi, with EJAE providing her vocals. May Hong plays Mira, while Audrey Nuna performs her singing parts. Ji‑young Yoo takes on the role of Zoey, with Rei Ami supplying her singing voice.

The movie is Netflix’s most-watched film ever.
