Harry Styles enters new era with disco-tinged album

Harry Styles has returned with his first album in four years, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.

The 12‑track project arrives after a long stretch away from the spotlight, following the success of Harry’s House in 2022, and marks a shift into a more reflective, disco‑tinged sound.

Recorded largely in Berlin, the album sees Harry leaning into a looser, more atmospheric approach, with Kid Harpoon once again overseeing production.

The record opens with the lead single Aperture, a track that sets the tone for the album’s introspective streak.

Are You Listening Yet? is one of the album’s more emotionally exposed moments, and it reflects the retrospective tone Harry has embraced this era.

Coming Up Roses, previewed by Fred Again.. at his recent London show, offers a brighter palette on the surface, but Harry complicates the optimism implied by the phrase.

By the time the record reaches Dance No More, Harry shifts into a more contemplative space.

The album closes with Carla’s Song, a character‑driven piece that stands apart from the more personal material. Fans have already begun speculating about Carla’s identity, but Harry has kept the inspiration deliberately vague.

The superstar revealed Berlin’s electronic music scene informed the spirit of the record.

He recalled being struck by the sense of unity and individuality on the dance floor:

Harry told Runner’s World UK: “Good electronic music is so good, you know — especially the melodic aspect. When you’re out at night, it’s such a community, but you’re also watching people have such individual experiences… I wanted to recreate [what] I had on the dance floor, being lost in instrumentation and the musicality. It was so immersive, like, this is how I want to feel when I’m on stage too. I don’t want it to feel like a sermon I’m delivering. I wanted it to feel like, oh, we’re in this music together. Like I’m in it with you.”
