Harry Styles promises ‘better live show’ as he cuts back travel on Together, Together stadium run

Harry Styles says hosting residencies and travelling less will allow him to deliver a stronger show while taking better care of himself and the people he works with.

The Aperture singer has explained why he’s moving away from a standard world tour for his 2026 Together, Together stadium run and choosing long‑run residencies instead.

The pop star, who spent nearly two years travelling the globe on Love On Tour, said performing multiple nights in the same venue gives him the freedom to build a production that doesn’t have to be torn down and rebuilt every day.

He told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1: “I think it makes the show better.

“I think you can build something that doesn’t have to travel every night. I think the show itself is better.”

Harry added that the change is also about protecting his own well-being after years of constant movement.

He went on: “There’s something in this that allows me to stay in my life while I’m doing it, and therefore I think allows me to take care of myself better, which I think makes me better at doing the thing.”

Harry stressed that he isn’t ruling out touring entirely, but wants to explore a different model for now.

He explained: “It’s not like I’m saying I’ll never travel again, but I want to see what it looks like if you do it a different way.”

The decision also reflects how his band’s lives have evolved since he first started touring as a teenager.

The former One Direction star added: “People in my band have families now and kids and it’s some aspect of that, too.

“It’s really important to me that they’re on the road, that I would love to have them, and I don’t want to make it like near impossible for them to be able to come do that with me.”

Harry himself wants to settle down soon, so it makes perfect sense that he would test the waters.

The 32-year-old singer, who has been romantically linked with actress Zoe Kravitz, 37, since August 2025, when they were spotted walking arm in arm in Rome, Italy, had a “real and honest” conversation with himself about his life goal in five years after Harry saw three of his pals marry.

Harry – who took a three-year break following his globally successful Love on Tour gigs in July 2023 – said: “I think I had a real honest conversation with myself about, ‘OK, in five years, what do I want my life to look like?’

“And then, ‘How do I make changes to aim at that?’ I don’t want to be the guy who’s on his own but was like, ‘Oh, I really did it.’

“I want to be fulfilled, and I want to be in great relationships with people. I want to have great friendships with people. I want a family. I want these things.

“It just allowed me to go like, ‘OK, what do I have to do to create space to allow these things to happen?’ I can’t just expect them to just happen to me.”
