Bring Me The Horizon join DJ ILLENIUM’s star-studded new album Odyssey

Bring Me The Horizon have added another major collaboration to their ever‑growing list, with the Sheffield heavyweights confirmed to appear on ILLENIUM’s upcoming album Odyssey.

The US DJ and producer will release the 19‑track project on February 6, marking his first full‑length since his 2023 self‑titled LP. True to form, he’s assembled an eclectic cast of guests from across pop, rock and electronic music – including Tom Grennan, Ellie Goulding, Bastille, Kid Cudi and more.

BMTH feature on a track titled Slave To The Rithm, a pairing that already has fans speculating about how ILLENIUM’s melodic bass sound will collide with the band’s arena‑sized alt‑metal.

It follows the producer’s history of cross‑genre collaborations, having previously teamed up with Spiritbox (Shivering), Tom DeLonge (Paper Thin) and Avril Lavigne (Eyes Wide Shut).

Meanwhile, Oli Sykes and co recently teased a collaboration with videogame Ghost Of Yōtei, sharing a preview of what appears to be a dramatic reimagining of their 2015 hit Throne. No release details have been confirmed as of yet.

The Kool-Aid singer previously hinted at a potential Director’s Cut of the band’s latest album, Post Human: Nex Gen, revealing he has 12 unreleased tracks in the vault. However, he admitted that progress slowed following the birth of his twins in July, whom he has with his wife, Alissic.

Speaking to NME, he said: “I’ve got so much from the Nex Gen archive that I want the world to hear. I literally phoned my label and management and said, ‘It’s nearly here, I’ve got 12 songs and they’re all bangers.

“They’re so close, we’re going to get the first single out before Rock Am Ring and the second before Reading and Leeds.

“The music will come, but it’s just not the be-all and end-all anymore.

“We’re realising that we don’t have to put another record out; we just put one out. Most bands would go away for two years, have an actual break. You don’t have to do this, but I want to and I enjoy it. If it doesn’t happen, then it doesn’t happen.”
