Guitarist Gem Archer reveals Oasis Live ’25 tour setlist was ‘amended’

The Oasis Live ’25 tour setlist went through some last‑minute trimming, leaving a few planned songs on the cutting‑room floor.

The Britpop legends played the same 23-song set each night on their first jaunt in 16 years, and guitraist Gem Archer has revealed there were a number of tracks that they wanted to play but ultimately settled on classics such as Supersonic, Don’t Look Back in Anger, Wonderwall, and Cigarettes and Alcohol.

He told Guitar World of the reaction to the setlist: “I couldn’t believe it.

“I was like, ‘Wow – and we haven’t even gotten to Supersonic yet!’ It was just ridiculous from there. The boys had been sorting it out for ages. It got amended; we’d started with, I think, 27 songs, and it ended up being 23.”

In the same interview, Gem admitted “anything could happen” regarding the future of the band.

After the tour wrapped in São Paulo, Brazil, last month, he spilled all he knows about what’s next for the Some Might Say hitmakers.

Reflecting on the epic reunion run, he told the publication: “It’s the weirdest thing.

“It’s all a blur. We’ve all said that we won’t know what this was ‘till next year. When all the wheels stop spinning, you know, there’s just so much to take on board. It really was a bit of a whirlwind, you know?”

Although he doesn’t believe anything is in the pipeline yet, Noel hinted in conversation with Gem that it’s not the end just yet.

Regarding what’s next, he replied: “Anything could happen, which could include nothing. But this was quite a thing… if stuff was happening, I think I might already know about it, if you know what I mean? It’s not something you just flick on.”

Recounting his conversation with the band’s lead guitarist, he spilled: “Noel has said, ‘No rest for the immensely talented,’ so take that how you want.”

Gem’s comments came after frontman Liam Gallagher suggested there are no plans to tour again in 2026.

The singer claims there will be “nothing going on next year” for the Roll With It band.

Liam was urged by a fan on X: “announce the 2026 dates mate”

But he replied: “We’re not doing anything in 2026 sorry (sic)”
