Yungblud reveals letter Robbie Williams sent him when he ‘really needed’ it

Yungblud has revealed Robbie Williams penned him a letter of wisdom when he “really needed” it.

The Zombie rocker, 28, and the former Take That star, 51, have both struggled with their mental health, and the pressures that come with being famous, and the Angels hitmaker passed down some guidance when he was going through a rough time.

In an interview with Billboard, Yungblud – whose real name is Dominic Harrison – shared: “He wrote me this letter when it really needed to come.

“He related himself to me, saying that he knew what it was like to be a 28-year-old who was trying to figure out who they were, while also dealing with a million opinions about what he could be or never be. People don’t give Robbie the credit for his mind and the way he sees things.”

Similarly, Robbie got in touch with Lewis Capaldi when he was struggling with his mental health.

He told DIY in 2023: “I’ve reached out to Lewis, and I’m here at any given time.

“There’s been times in my life when pop stars have been going through their own battles, and then people will be like, ‘Have you reached out?’ And in my mind I’m going, ‘I’m still f*****! The last person they want to speak to is me! Yeah, I’m 20 years down the road… f****** hell.'”

Robbie added: “It’s very difficult for people to understand the psychology of this great gift that has been given to you, but yet it’s breaking you. Why? You’ve got money; you’ve got people going, ‘We love you.’ What’s the problem with that?”
