Lewis Capaldi to Bob Geldof, here are all the winners from the ZYN Rolling Stone UK Awards 2025

Lewis Capaldi, FKA twigs, The Cranberries, and Sir Bob Geldof were among the winners at the ZYN Rolling Stone UK Awards 2025.

The Scottish singer scooped The Artist Award at the publication’s bash in London on Thursday night (20.11.25).

It follows the Survive singer’s grand return to the stage at Glastonbury this summer, two years after he was forced to end his set early amid his struggles with Tourette’s syndrome.

Lewis beat off stiff competition from the likes of Sam Fender, Little Simz, Joy Crookes, and Olivia Dean.

Taking to the stage at London’s Roundhouse in Camden, Capaldi quipped:  “Buzzing buzzing buzzing… that Olivia Dean couldn’t make it tonight!”

On a serious note, he then reflected: “This has been such a special year for me, coming back after a couple of years. I had a really, really difficult time, and I didn’t know whether I would ever come back to music (I was because I needed the money).”

He went on: “The two years that I spent away were really, really hard. I had a lot of s*** going on, and to be able to come back and have people be so welcoming genuinely really means the f******* world to me.”

Lewis wrapped up his speech: “Thank you for this, and I just want to say that music isn’t about awards – it’s not a competition – but on this occasion, I won!”

Continuing with the theme of comebacks, FKA twigs’ first album in five years, EUSEXUA, received The Album Award.

The Icon Award was handed to The Cranberries, and the evening saw a special tribute to late frontwoman Dolores O’Riordan, with the Zombie band’s guitarist Noel Hogan and rock band Royel Otis taking to the stage for the evening’s headline performance.

Sir Bob Geldof was honoured with The Lifetime Achievement Award.

Elsewhere, Scottish trio Biffy Clyro took home The Live Act Award, and Irish rock band Wunderhorse won The Group Award.

Former EastEnders actor Danny Dyer hosted the star-studded ceremony, which also saw performances from Myles Smith, Jacob Alon and Fayth Ifil from Just For One Day: The Live Aid Musical.
