Backstreet Boys treat fans to digital deluxe edition of A Very Backstreet Christmas album

The Backstreet Boys have released a digital deluxe version of their holiday album A Very Backstreet Christmas.

The updated edition includes two previously exclusive tracks: a reggaeton version of Feliz Navidad and the original song It’s Christmas Time Again.

Both songs were initially available only on Target’s CD and vinyl editions. They are now accessible on all major streaming platforms, including a Dolby Atmos version of the album.

A new video for the reggaeton version of Feliz Navidad has also been released, featuring a festive visual timed for the holiday season.

The I Want It That Way hitmakers are currently riding high with the success of their Into the Millennium residency at the state-of-the-art Sphere venue in Las Vegas. Show dates include December 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, January 2, 3, and February 5, 6, 7, 11, 13, 14, and 15.

Meanwhile, AJ McLean is gearing up to release a new solo album called Hi, My Name is Alexander James on January 9.

The Backstreet Boys star – whose full name is Alexander James McLean – recently opened up about how a stint in rehab taught him to separate his boyband persona from his real self, and he now wants the world to “get to know Alex”.

During a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, he explained: “[I went on a] little mental health retreat … What I got out of that was understanding that AJ is a character in a band.

“It doesn’t define me as who I am. I want the world to get to know Alex … I want everyone to kind of get to know me as me. There’s not that much of a difference between the two, but one is part of a group, part of a team, and then me on my own.

“I finally realised that I can love myself today, which I do. I can look at myself in the mirror.”
