Oasis fans given huge hint about Knebworth gigs

Oasis fans have been given the strongest hint yet the band may return to Knebworth for a huge run of gigs next summer.

The rockers reunited this year for their Oasis Live ’25 world tour, which is due to end in Brazil next month, and followers have been speculating about the possibility the band may continue their successful run by returning to Knebworth House in Hertfordshire in 2026 to mark 30 years since they played their two record-breaking gigs there back in 1996.

Now fans have been given a huge hint after a member of the UK’s House of Lords – Lady Taylor of Stevenage – talked about the band in the chamber on Wednesday (22.10.25), telling the house: “Next July, I will have the benefit of five days of Oasis concerts in the fantastic venue of Knebworth House, which is just about a mile away from my house.

“I can hear and enjoy [the gigs] from my house, and they represent the important cultural role of music venues and … make an enormous contribution to our economy.”

However, Lady Taylor later clarified her comments, telling the Guardian newspaper: “I was speaking hypothetically following speculation that they would play Knebworth again as they did in August 1996. I understand the band have not confirmed this.”

Henry Lytton-Cobbold – owner of Knebworth House – has also previously confirmed he’s keen for Oasis to return to site for gigs next year, telling the Guardian: “Clearly it’s what the people want, clearly it should happen – but let’s get it in the diary, as our summer 2026 weekends are swiftly filling up.”

It comes after Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher hinted at more Oasis Live ’25 Tour dates.

After a fan asked why the 2002 track The Hindu Times – the lead single from their chart-topping fifth studio album Heathen Chemistry – didn’t make the setlist for the Britpop legends’ first tour in 16 years, Liam appeared to suggest the jaunt would extend beyond the current final date, November 23 in São Paulo.

He replied: “Chill Winston it’s not even HALF TIME yet. It’s a tour of 2 half’s (sic).”

UK DJ Chris Evans also recently hinted at huge Oasis news for next year on his Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio.

However, he said the news would drop on October 2, and fans are still waiting to hear.

The excitement caused the band’s official website – oasisinet.com – to crash, with fans met with the messages “Error 44” and “access denied”.

Liam also caused a stir when he tweeted and swiftly deleted: “MMXXV11.”

The 52-year-old singer teased fans about the prospect of more shows in 2026 as the band wrapped up its two sold-out performances at Wembley Stadium last month.

The Live Forever hitmakers closed their highly anticipated run of reunion concerts at Wembley on September 27, with Champagne Supernova and before starting the song, Liam turned to the audience and addressed them directly.

He said: “I wanna thank you lot for keeping the faith and putting this band back on the f****** map. Champagne Supernova.”

Liam then sent fans at the stadium and online into a frenzy by adding: “See you next year!”

The remark sent the crowd into cheers and set off widespread speculation on social media that the Gallagher brothers are preparing a global tour.
