Listen: Oasis release Morning Glory (Unplugged)

Oasis have dropped a fresh take on one of their most iconic tracks with the release of Morning Glory (Unplugged).

Lifted from the upcoming (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition), the stripped-back version is part of a special collection featuring acoustic renditions of five fan favourites: Morning Glory, Cast No Shadow, Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova, and the previously released Acquiesce.

Set to arrive on October 3, via Big Brother Recordings, the deluxe edition is now available for pre-order.

The unplugged tracks were produced and mixed by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho using the original master recordings at Noel’s Lone Star Sound studio in London. The reimagined Morning Glory lands today (24.09.25), accompanied by a visualiser that offers a glimpse into the refreshed sonic landscape.

Originally released in 1995, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? remains a cornerstone of British rock. Arriving just 14 months after their debut Definitely Maybe, the album cemented Oasis as global icons, delivering timeless anthems like Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger, and Champagne Supernova. With over 22 million copies sold worldwide – including 6 million in the US – it stands as the UK’s third best-selling studio album of all time. National Album Day recently named it the Official Most Streamed Album of the ’90s, with Definitely Maybe taking second place.

Pre-order (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) on Digital, Limited Edition 2CD and 3LP Formats via oasismusic.lnk.to/30wtsmgPR.

The release of Morning Glory (Unplugged) follows Oasis’ triumphant North American run on the Oasis Live ’25 Tour.

After seven sold-out nights at Wembley Stadium, with the final two gigs at the venue taking place this Saturday (27.09.25) and Sunday (28.09.25), the tour heads to South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.
