Rita Ora declares All Natural as ‘one of the most personal songs’ she has ‘ever made’

Rita Ora says All Natural is about loving yourself.

The 34-year-old singer opted for a more raw sound on the single – produced by 42-year-old Grammy award-winning record producer-and-musician Joel Little – and she declared it as one of her most “personal” tracks in her back catalogue.

Rita – whose new record is out now – told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “All Natural is one of the most personal songs I’ve ever made.

“For me, it’s about learning to love every side of yourself – the strong and the fragile, the light and the shadows.

“This song is really about growth, healing, and self-discovery. My hope is that when people hear it, they connect with their own journey and feel seen in it.”

Speaking about joining forces with Joel to make the record, she continued – as quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “Working with Joel was such a gift.

“He has this rare ability to take something deeply intimate and turn it into music that everyone can feel as their own.”

All Natural’s music video was directed by her husband, Taika Waititi, 50, and Rita can be seen donning a white vest, as well as white underwear, woolly leg warmers and red heels.

Rita is releasing a mini series on Instagram over the next few weeks, which will see her reminisce about growing up in West London and how she shot to global stardom.

Even though the star – who became famous after she featured on DJ Fresh’s 2012 UK chart-topping single Hot Right Now – has also dabbled in acting, appearing in the likes of Disney’s Descendants: The Rise of Red, and Tin Soldier, she recently said music keeps her “alive” and is one of the most important things in her life.

In June, Rita exclusively told BANG Showbiz at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard at Wembley Stadium in London: “Music is what keeps me alive, to be honest. I wake up listening to music; it runs in my blood. I think we all secretly need music in so many different ways.”

The Heat hitmaker continued: “I love working and being creative, and it keeps my blood flowing.

“If I get excited, I love it – fashion, movies, music. I just need to have that excitement.”
