Hampton Court Palace Festival 2025 adds Chaka Khan and James

Chaka Khan and James are the latest names added to the line-up for the 2025 Hampton Court Palace Festival.

The ‘Ain’t Nobody’ hitmaker, 71, is set to perform at the royal landmark’s historic Base Court on June 18.

As for Manchester rockers James – who are known for hits including ‘Come Home’, ‘Sit Down’, ‘She’s a Star’ and ‘Laid’ – they will play their only London show of the year at the summer concert series on June 11.

Last month, it was revealed that Rag’n’Bone Man and Bananarama will play the palace festival in the picturesque grounds of the former Tudor residence of King Henry VIII.

The ‘Human’ hitmaker and ’80s pop legends – whose hits include ‘Cruel Summer’, ‘Venus’, ‘Love in the First Degree’, and ‘Robert De Niro’s Waiting…’ – will grace the stage on June 12 and Saturday June 14, respectively.

Elbow are also set to rock Hampton Court Palace next summer, not once, but twice.

Guy Garvey and co were recently confirmed as the first headliners of the popular summer extravaganza, with the ‘One Day Like This’ group set to play the landmark on June 20.

And due to phenomenal demand, an additional date was added on June 21.

Frontman Guy remarked: “For summer ’25, we’re revisiting venues we’ve truly cherished and exploring some towns and cities we’ve missed over the years. There’s unparalleled joy in spending an evening with long-standing friends.”

Tickets for Chaka Khan and James go on pre-sale from Wednesday 13 November, with general sale taking place from Friday 15 November via www.hamptoncourtpalacefestival.com.
